Biography

Born in Leningrad , at the age of four, he and his family moved to Petrodvorets [1] .

He played for the championship GORONO of Leningrad among the district children's sports schools in the team of the Children's and Youth Sports School of the Petrodvorets district, born in 1958, also with the guys 2 years older under the guidance of the head coach Utkin Nikolai Georgievich. In 1971, the team won the zonal tournament of the competition “Leather Ball”, in the all-Union final in Chelyabinsk took 21 place. Then coach Viktor Smagin invited Zheludkov to the Smena football school . At the end of 1976 he made his debut in the second league in the Leningrad Dynamo . Two years after the end of the army service, having received an invitation from the head coach of Spartak Moscow KI Beskov , he wrote a statement about the transfer, but in the end the Zenit head coach Yu. A. Morozov persuaded Zheludkov to join him in the team.

At the end of 1985 he was invited to the German “Bremen” Bremen , but was refused a transition from the Sports Committee.

At the end of 1989, together with the Zenit administrator David Apter, Zheludkov went to Sweden, where he signed a contract with the club of the second Östersund division. A year later he returned to Zenit.

At the end of 1991 he left for Israel, where he played in Netanya's Maccabi club . In 1993-1995 he played in the Finnish KaIK Kaskinen . Later, together with Vladimir Dolgopolov, he played in the Armenian club “Kapan-81” .

He had a strong blow from his left foot, scored many goals from free kicks, from the so-called “Zheludkov point”.

In 1976 he entered the correspondence department of the P.F. Lesgaft Institute of Physical Education , which he graduated in 1997.

In the 1999 parliamentary elections he was on the list of candidates from the LDPR .

In 2006, he became a member of the coaching staff of FC Petrotrest .

In 2007, after the resignation of Sergey Dmitriev, he acted as head coach of Dynamo St. Petersburg .
