History

  • The company was founded in 2008 by graduates of TUSUR and begins its activity with the development of websites and virtual 3D tours [1] .
  • In 2009, the first software product Rubius 3DTourKit [6] [7] [8] was registered. A direction has been launched to develop our own products for the engineering sector [1] [3] . Presented a product for the design of power lines and lightning protection systems - Rubius Electric Suite [9] [10] .
  • In 2010, on the basis of Rubius, a department of the group of companies “Russian SAPR” was created - ZAO “Russian CAD - Innovative Technologies” [3] .
  • From 2010 to 2012 released: Rubius GIS Integrator - data transfer system between CAD and GIS [11] , project management system - Rubius Project Manager [12] [13] , platform for creating 3D visualization applications - Rubius 4D [14] .
  • In 2013, Rubius, together with LO TSNITI and ASCON, developed the ExtraCAD solid-state modeling system - the first third-party CAD system based on the Russian geometric core C3D [15] [1] . On the basis of Rubius, a division of perspective development of DP Technology - DP Labs [1] is open.
  • In 2014, Softline became a distributor of software products Rubius in Russia and the CIS [16] . Rubius received the status of an authorized developer of the geometric core C3D [4] . The company won the USRIC US-Russia Innovation Projects Development Program and became a resident of the MI2 Business Incubator at the University of Maryland [17] .
