Digital Business Space (formerly the Entrepreneur ’s Central House ) is a building in Moscow (47 Pokrovka Street ). Built in 1977 as a cinema " Novorossiysk ". In the 1990s, it was called the “ Central Entrepreneur House ”, there was a 35mm movie theater. It was reconstructed in 2017 and opened as a “ Digital Business Space ”.
History
The Novorossiysk cinema was built in 1977 according to the project of architects P. I. Skokan , Yu. G. Pavlov, G. A. Chernov, N. V. Bakanova, V. V. Rumyantseva [1] and engineers V. Gnedin, N. Simakovaa, Yu. Shinkevich [2] . For this project, architects were awarded the Gosstroy Prize of the RSFSR [3] . Initially, the cinema had 2 halls: a large one with 1000 seats with a widescreen screen and a small one with 200 seats. The large hall could also be used as a concert hall [1] . On the square in front of the cinema, a ship anchor from Tsemess Bay was installed - a gift from the inhabitants of Novorossiysk . In the 1980s, there were 9 cinema clubs and movie lecture halls in the cinema ("Writer, book, movie", "Teenager and the law", "Golden Key" and others) [4] .
After the reconstruction, the building housed the Central House of Entrepreneurs. For cinema screening, a small room was saved, which was used jointly by the companies Central Partnership , 35mm , Cinema Without Borders . Films in the original language with Russian subtitles were shown at the cinema. Later, a large hall began to be involved, periodically held film festivals [5] .
In 2017, the Central House of Entrepreneurs was reconstructed, receiving the new name “ Digital Business Space ”. According to the plan of the Moscow authorities, it should become a platform for the support and development of technological entrepreneurship, a place for business communication, training and work [6] .
Description
The two-story building has an L-shaped layout and is separated from the Garden Ring by the area of Caesar Kunikov [2] . The total area is 6600 m². The facade of translucent concrete is equipped with three media screens. The registration area is located on the ground floor of the CDP. The visitor is registered using touch panels, the system automatically enters information into the database, offers to take an instant photo and prints a plastic badge . Media columns with navigation and useful information were also installed here [7] .
On the second floor there is a conference hall with 640 seats with an LED screen of 15.8 × 8.6 m and a small hall with 80 seats. There is also an interactive multimedia wall made of a seamless panel measuring 12.1 × 2.7 m. On the second floor there is also a coworking zone for 70 seats. There is a sound-absorbing booth for Internet calls and skype meetings, “smart tables” with built-in bluetooth speakers, USB ports, wireless charging, induction heating with a drink mug. In the coworking zone, tables were installed with an electric lift on an electric drive for people with limited mobility, a cybercapsule for work, and a capsule for recreation [7] .
The area near the building is illuminated by LED lights with the functions of transmitting Wi-Fi signal and charging mobile devices. There is also an autonomous rental station “Scooter-sharing”. The DAC operator is the state budget institution “Moscow Innovation Agency” [7] .
