Biography

From the hereditary nobles of the Simbirsk province [1] . The son of a real state adviser Vladimir Nikolaevich Abutkov (1848-1904).

He graduated from the Simbirsk Cadet Corps (1890) and the Moscow Infantry Junker School (1892), from where he was released as second lieutenant to the 34th Sevsky Infantry Regiment .

On October 17, 1893 he was transferred to the 8th combat engineer battalion [2] , and on May 12, 1895 - to the 9th combat engineer battalion [3] . He was promoted to lieutenant on August 1, 1896 [4] , and to staff captains on August 1, 1900 [5] . In 1903 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in the 1st category and on May 23 of the same year he was promoted to captain " for excellent achievements in the sciences ." On December 21, 1904 he was transferred to the General Staff with the appointment of the 1st Grenadier Division as senior adjutant of the headquarters. September 10, 1906 he was appointed senior adjutant of the headquarters of the Grenadier Corps . On December 24, 1910, he was appointed correcting the position of headquarters officer for assignments under the commander of the troops of the Moscow Military District, and on April 10, 1911, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel with approval in office. He was promoted to colonel on December 6, 1911 " for distinction in service ." The censored command of the battalion served in the 12th grenadier Astrakhan regiment (1913).

With the outbreak of World War I , on October 19, 1914 he was appointed headquarters officer for assignments under the command of the 5th Army . On February 20, 1915, he was appointed headquarters officer for assignments under the commander of the 12th Army , and on April 29 of the same year, he was appointed commander of the 6th Libava Infantry Regiment . On March 10 (23), 1919 he was appointed chief of staff of the 1st Army Corps , and on June 6 (19) - chief of staff of the 2nd Army Corps . On November 11, 1919 he was appointed the primary headquarters of the Black Sea Military Governor. He died in February 1920.
