Biography
Born in 1927 in Philadelphia in a Jewish family. The son of the artist Benjamin Richman and his wife Yesta Dora (nee Peck) [1] .
He made his film debut in 1956 in the film William Wyler 's Friendly Exhortation . Peter at that time was already a regularly working television actor [2] , as well as a member of the New York Actor’s Studio , whose resource he often used before moving to Los Angeles in 1961. [3] .
He is perhaps best known for his role as Nicholas “Nick” Kane in the 1961 films The Murder of a Man and The Criminals and the television series The Kane's Hundred. Richman also played the role of Channing-Creighton “CC” Capwell in the soap opera “ Santa Barbara ”, becoming the second performer of this role.
Fans of horror films, the actor is known primarily as Professor McCulloch, Uncle Rennie, in the horror " Friday the 13th: Jason Storms Manhattan " (1989).
The last to date appearance of Richman on the screen date back to 2011. Then he starred in the films "Mystery" and "After the Wizard."
