Career

Born in the city of Kriens, canton of Lucerne . At the age of 8, she started playing football at the school of the Kreens football club, playing with the boys. In 2000, she joined the Zursee team (now Lucerne ). Together with the club three times in a row (from 2002 to 2004) she became the champion of Switzerland . According to the results of the 2003/04 season, she was recognized as the best football player in the country.

In 2004, she moved to the United States, starting to play for the Ohio State University team. In the debut season, she was recognized as the rookie of the year at the Big Ten conference . During her second year of studies, she began to be called up for the Swiss national team, skipping part of the NCAA championship matches. According to the results of the performance in the third season, the MVP of the team was recognized and the composition of the symbolic NCAA championship team was included [3] .

December 14, 2008 she graduated from the university with a bachelor 's degree in " International Economic Relations ". She became the first Ohio State University footballer to enter the Hermann Trophy contender list [4] .

Professional career
