Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra

Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is a Canadian symphony orchestra based in Calgary .

It was founded in 1955 by the merger of the Alberta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Calgary Symphony Orchestra, created by Henry Placker shortly before, which was, in fact, a student orchestra of Mount Royal College.
