John was born on January 24, 1949. Baptized in the Albanian Orthodox Church . In 1967 he graduated from high school. Rejecting the invitation of one university, Belushi was going to enter the second, where he was not given scholarships as an athlete, but he had the faculties he needed. But they didn’t accept him there, so Belushi entered the university of another state, but he also failed to graduate. As a result of many shuffles, John still received a diploma. In February 1971, John went to Chicago to audition for a comedy theater. He was accepted, and although he was the youngest member of the troupe, he quickly advanced to leading roles. Then he became interested in the music of Joe Cocker . Going to Canada, John met Dan Aykroyd there . Belushi offered Aykroyd work in the show, but he refused and in turn made a counter offer to John. The result of their agreement was the creation of a musical duet , several CDs, concerts and a movie .
