Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the Lipetsk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the eastern spurs of the Central Russian Upland , at a distance of about 13 kilometers (in a straight line) to the north-east of the village of Volovo , the administrative center of the region. The climate is temperate continental with warm summers and moderately frosty winters.
