Valbona ( alb. Valbona ) is a river in the north of Albania . Tributary drin .

The source of the river is located in the mountains Prokletiye [1] near the border with Montenegro .
Valbona flows through the Margegai municipality (the mountain villages of Valbone, Dragobi and Shoshan), then returns to the south near the town of Bairam-Curri , and further south-west to the mouth of the Drin .
This is one of the cleanest rivers in the country. In the valley of the river there is a protected area. [2]
