Club career
Ferreira is a graduate of the Canadian Toronto Academy. At the age of 15, he returned to his historic homeland, joining the Porto youth team. In the summer of 2011, the contract expired and Ricardo, as a free agent, signed an agreement with the Italian Milan [2] [3] . In the summer of 2012, to obtain gaming practice, Ferreira on a leasehold moved to Empoli [4] . On September 25, in a match against Padova , he made his debut in the Italian Serie B [5] . In the summer of 2013, Ricardo returned to his homeland, signing a contract with Ollanensi [6] . On August 17, in his match against Vitoria Guimaraes , he made his debut in the Sangrish League [7] .
In the summer of 2014, Ferreira transferred to Pasush de Ferreira on loan. On August 17, in a match against the Lisbon “ Benfica ”, he made his debut for a new club [8] .
In the summer of 2015, Ricardo transferred to Braga as a free agent. In his match against Estoril Praia , he made his debut for a new team. On October 31, in a duel against Belenensis , Ferreira scored his first goal for Braga [9] . On November 26, in the Europa League match against the Czech Slovan , he scored a goal [10] . In 2016, Ricardo helped the team win the Portuguese Cup .
International Career
On November 10, 2017, in a friendly match against the Saudi Arabian team, Ferreira made his debut for the Portuguese national team [11] .
