Biography
He graduated from Mordovia State University with a degree in history in 1965. Since 1971 he has been working at the Institute of History of the USSR (IRI RAS); taught at the Russian State Humanitarian University and the Moscow Pedagogical University, worked at the Center for Documentary Publications of the Russian State Pedagogical University.
Full member of the International Academy of Informatization , the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Academy of Political Science, a member of the editorial board of the journal Voprosy istorii and Russian History . Director of the Russian Institute of Public Thought, Chairman of the Academic Council of the Heritage Research Fund P. A. Stolypin. He took part in the activities of the Russian Independent Institute of Social and National Problems , was a member of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission on domestic history.
Son Stanislav is a candidate of historical sciences.
