The Small Taz is a river in Russia , it flows through the territory of the Krasnoselkupsky District of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and the Turukhansk District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory . The mouth of the river is 35 km along the left bank of the Dyndovskiy Taz river, the mouth of which is 77 meters above sea level [2] . The length is 47 km.

In the basin of the Small Taz there are lakes Parkelto and Sokolto [3] .
The main tributaries are the Glukharinaya [4] (right), Spruce [4] (right), Parkelkike [5] (left). The border of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District passes along the middle and lower parts of the Malaya Taza riverbed.
The cedar - larch forest grows in the river valley [3] .
