Aysel Mammadova ( azerb. Aysel Məmmədova ; also just Aisel (AISEL); born July 3, 1989 ) is an Azerbaijani jazz singer and composer [1] .

Biography
Aysel Mammadova was born on July 3, 1989 in Baku in a musical family. In 1995 - 2006 she attended the Bulbul School of Music, in 2010 she graduated from the Azerbaijan Academy of Music [2] .
Performs jazz and soul music . She participated in such musical events as the Caspian Jazz and Blues Festival (2002), the Baku Jazz Festival (2005, 2006), the MuzEnergo festival of improvisational music (2007), the Montreux Jazz Festival (2009) and the Caucasus Jazz Festival (2012) ) [2] .
On November 8, 2017, it was announced that Aysel would represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon [2] [3] [4] .
On March 4, 2018, Aysel Mammadova presented the song “X My Heart” for the Eurovision Song Contest-2018 [5] . The song was written by Greek composer and producer Dimitris Kontopoulos and Swedish Sandra Bürman and recorded in London [6] .
Mammadova failed to break into the final of Eurovision.
