Erol Erdinch (born November 30, 1945) is a Turkish conductor , composer , pianist and music teacher .

Biography
He studied at the Ankara Conservatory , among his teachers were Ahmed Saigun and T. Chetiz. After graduation, he taught there, while working as a pianist in the Opera and Ballet Theater in Ankara. In 1975, he went to Paris, where he studied with such specialists as Jean Martinon , Pierre Dervo , Nadia Boulanger and Pierre Petit . He also took part in master classes given by Pierre Boulez and Kirill Kondrashin [1] .
In 1980, he returned to Turkey, became a composer at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Ankara [2] .
In 1983-2000, Erdinch served as the chief conductor and music director of the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, and also taught at the Conservatory at Istanbul University . Until 2002, he served as dean of the Faculty of Music at Bilkent University [1] . In 2003, he began to work at the Ankara Conservatory at the University of Hajettepe, he headed one of the departments, as well as the Hajettepe Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, he created the Department of Jazz at the Faculty of Music [3] [4] .
Erdinch was a member of the jury of a number of music competitions, including Canada [5] and Romania [6] .
He also wrote music for TV. In 1991, Erdinch created his own show on TRT [7] .
As a composer and conductor, Erdinch wrote musical works for orchestras, choirs, symphony jazz orchestras and music for children [8] .
