Chulanov, Gabdulla

Born in 1907 in Zhanakal district. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1926.

Since 1926 - in economic, public and political work. In 1926 - 1966 - Secretary of the Komsomol committee of the Kyzylkoginsky district of the Guryev region, teacher and director of the Kazakh Pedagogical College in Omsk, second secretary of the Balkhash city and Karaganda regional committee of the Communist Party of China, deputy chairman of the Supreme Council and chairman of the State Planning Committee of the Kazakh SSR, participant in the Great Patriotic War, deputy chairman of the Kazakh Economic Council, deputy head of the personnel department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, editor-in-chief of the journal "Communist", chairman Tel Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR, head of the Department of Economics, Director of the Institute of Economics Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.

He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 1st convocation.

He died in 1966 in Alma-Ata.
