Geography
The village is located 13 km south-west of the center of the village of Vtorovo , 20 km east of Vladimir and 26 km south-west of Kameshkovo .
History
The village of Gorki was first mentioned in a request for the construction of a church in the village of Davydovo in 1717 [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Davydovskaya volost of Vladimir district . In 1859 [3] there were 42 households in the village, in 1905 [4] - 56 households, in 1926 [5] - 61 households.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Davydovsky village council of the Vladimir region , since 1940 - as part of the Kameshkovsky district , since 2005 - as part of the Vtorovskoye municipal formation .
