Born in 1901. Member of the CPSU (b).

Since 1922 - in military service, public and political work. In 1922 - 1956 - at party work in the Red Army, chief of the Border Troops of the Azerbaijan Military District, participant in the deportation of Chechens and Ingush, head of the Border Troops of the Primorsky Military District, chief of the Border Troops of the Ministry of State Security of the Belarusian Military District

He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 2nd convocation.
