Career

First hit the Chinese team at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon , where she won gold and bronze medals. In the first final, surpassing the Japanese Kanako Watanabe and breaking the Asian Games record, she became the champion in the distance of 100 meters breaststroke [1] . The next day, at a distance of 200 meters breaststroke, Shi became the third, finishing behind the Japanese duo Kanako Watanabe and Rie Kaneto [2] .

At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan , Shi again won the gold and bronze medals. In swimming 100 meters breaststroke, with a personal record, she showed 5 results in the final, losing 0.13 seconds to third place [3] . Three days later, Shi won the bronze medal in the 200 meter breaststroke, showing the same time with the Spanish Hessica Val Montero and the Danish Rikke Möller Pedersen [4] . On the last day of the competition, in the national team with the participation of Fu Yuanhui , Lu Ying and Shen Do, she became the world champion in the combined relay 4 × 100 meters [5] .

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, she fought for medals in three forms. In swimming 100 meters breaststroke took 4th place, at the next distance - 200 meters breaststroke - became a bronze medalist [6] . On the last day of the swimming tournament, as part of the relay team, became the fourth in the combined relay 4 × 100 meters .
