History of Creation and Development
Professor Sinlapa Phirasi actively collaborated with the Thai government, and devoted himself entirely to the development of art education in the country. First, a small art school was founded on the site of the future university, where subjects such as sculpture and painting were taught. Schooling was free. There are 4 galleries at the university, in which paintings, sculptures, graphics, architectural projects, performed in both modern and traditional manner, are presented. This is the work of students and teachers. It also organizes exhibitions of works by leading Thai and foreign artists [3] .
