Biography

Ramiro’s sports career began in futsal , popular in the south of Brazil, but in 2005 he entered the Juventude Youth Football Academy. In the main team from Caxias do Sul, he made his debut in 2011. With Juve, the young football player spent 21 matches in two draws of the League of Gaucho and Serie D , and in 2012 he played three matches in the Brazil Cup . At the end of the 2012 season, Ramiro moved to Gremio [2] .

Under Wanderlei, Lushemburg Ramiro did not often appear at the base of the "musketeers", but everything changed with the advent of Renato Gauscha , who began to trust the newcomer to the place at the base. By the end of the Brazilian Championship 2013, Ramiro became the leader of the team and in terms of the number of matches played was on a par with experienced players such as Ze Roberto , Souza and Christian Riveros . On August 17, Ramiro scored his first goal for Gremio and helped to win the most important away victory over Vasco da Gama - 3: 2 [3] . Following the results of the championship, Gremio took second place and earned a ticket to the Libertadores Cup [4] .

In 2014, Ramiro continued to play an important role in the Gremio tactical scheme, helping the team to reach the 1/8 finals of the Libertadores Cup from the “death group”, where they also played Uruguayan Nacional , Argentinean Newells Old Boys and Colombian Atletico Nacional ". In the first round of the playoffs, the team lost to the future winner of the San Lorenzo tournament [2] .

Before the start of the 2015 season, Ramiro was seriously injured and before the end of the year he played in only 13 matches for the team [5] . In 2016, Ramiro managed to re-form and return to the base. He played an important role in the team winning the Brazil Cup. At the end of the year, he extended the contract with Gremio [6] .

In 2017, Ramiro dramatically increased his performance [7] . If over the previous four years in various tournaments he scored eight goals for “three-color”, then in incomplete 2017 he scored 11 times. In the Libertadores Cup, Ramiro Benetti played in 12 of 14 matches of his team (and scored one goal), which won this trophy for the third time in its history [8] .

In 2018, Gremio helped win the state championship, conquer Rekopa and reach the semi-finals of the Libertadores Cup , where the “tricolors” lost to the Argentinean River Plate only due to the rule of a goal scored on a foreign field .

In January 2019, Ramiro moved to Corinthians .
