Kazdanga ( Latvian: Kazdanga ) is a settlement in the Aizput region of Latvia . The administrative center of Kazdanga volost . Located on the Alokste River at the regional highway P117 ( Skrunda - Aizpute ). The distance to the city of Liepaja is about 60 km [1] .

According to the data for 2017, 554 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, an elementary school, a house of culture, a library, a post office, a doctor, a pharmacy, and a shop. The Kazdanga estate complex is a national architectural monument.
History
First mentioned in 1350. Later, the village was the center of the Kazdanga estate.
In Soviet times, the settlement was the center of the Kazdang village council of the Liepaja district . The village housed the Kazdang State Farm College and the central estate of the collective farm. Lenin [1] .
