General Information

Last year's champions Bob and Mike Bryan were sown in the tournament under the first number. Suddenly, the brothers stumbled at the start, losing in the first round to Steve Johnson and Sam Querrey . At this tournament, the Brenov Brothers series was interrupted, which lasted 10 years. Since 2005, they have won at least one Grand Slam tournament for the season, and in 2015 they could not win any. As a result, in the finals the title was played by the eighth numbers of sowing by Jamie Murray and John Pierce , as well as No. 12 of sowing by Nicolas Mayu and Pierre-Yug Herbert . Stronger was the French duo who took the title. For Mayu and Herber, the title was a debut at the Grand Slam tournaments.

Q ( English qualifier , literally - qualified ) - the winner of the qualifying tournament.

LL ( English lucky loser , literally - the lucky loser ) - the player with the highest rating of the losers in the final qualification round, invited as a replacement for the main player who has lately starred.
R ( English retired , literally - starred ) - the player's refusal to continue the game during the match.
W / O ( English walkover , literally - pass ) - winning on the opponent's absence from the game.
