Biography
Born in 1898 on the farm Grazhe. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1944.
Since 1922 - on economic, social and political work. In 1922 - 1971 - in the system of the People’s Commissariat of Procurement of the USSR, in the Red Army, Deputy People’s Commissar, People’s Commissar of Trade of the Lithuanian SSR, Minister of State Farms of the Lithuanian SSR, Minister of Livestock of the Lithuanian SSR, Candidate for Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Lithuania, Minister of Agriculture of the Lithuanian SSR, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Lithuania, Minister of State Farms of the Lithuanian SSR, 1st Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Lithuanian SSR, Counselor at the Council of Ministers of the Lithuanian SSR.
He was elected deputy of the 4th Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
