Geography
The city is located in the southeastern part of Chad, near the state border with Sudan , at an altitude of 623 meters above sea level [2] . Ada is located at a distance of approximately 735 kilometers east-northeast (ENE) from the country's capital N'Djamena .
The climate of the city is characterized as semi-desert hot ( BSh in the Köppen climate classification ).
Population
According to the 2009 official census, the population of Adé was 12,413 people (6,471 men and 5,942 women). Children under the age of 15 years accounted for 52.3% of the total number of residents of the prefecture [3] .
