News from the USSR. Human Rights - a newsletter of a number of international human rights organizations, published materials on the situation of the opposition movement in the USSR in the late 1970s – 1980s.
Founded in 1978 on the initiative of Russian human rights activist Kronid Arkadyevich Lyubarsky .
Periodicity: 1978-79 - monthly, since 1980 - twice a month, in Russian and English.
Existed until 1989. It was published at the expense of social and political magazines “Notebooks of samizdat” ( Brussels , Belgium ) and “ Country and World ” ( Munich , Germany ).
He organized protest rallies in defense of the human rights movement Oles Pavlovich Berdnik , Yuri Vasilievich Badjo and others.
On the pages of the publication contained numerous information about the leaders of the Crimean Tatar and Jewish national movements in Ukraine .
