Eliso V. Kakabadze ( Georgian: ელისო კაკაბაძე ; March 13, 1929 - 1998 [1] ) - Soviet and Georgian chess player , USSR master of sports in chess ( 1961 ). Four-time champion of the Georgian SSR in women's chess ( 1953 , 1954 , 1955 , 1957 ). A multiple participant in the finals of the USSR Women's Chess Championships. Candidate of pedagogical sciences [1] .

Biography
In the 1950s and 1960s, she was one of the leading chess players in Georgia. Four times, including three in a row, she won the Georgian Women's Chess Championships [2] . Five times represented the team of the Georgian SSR in the championships of the USSR between the teams of the Union republics in chess (1953-1958, 1960, 1967), in which in 1960 won the third place on its board [3] . In 1954, she represented the Iskra team in the USSR Chess Team Cup [4] .
Thirteen times participated in the finals of the USSR chess championships for women ( 1953 , 1954 , 1956 , 1957 , 1958 , 1959 , 1960 , 1962 (January) , 1962 (December) , 1963 , 1965 , 1966 , 1971 ). She showed the best results in 1956, when she took fourth place, and in 1960, when she was in sixth place.
