Alan Williams ( born Alan Williams ; born January 28, 1993 , in Phoenix , Arizona , USA ) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Lokomotiv Kuban team. At college level, he played for the University of California at Santa Barbara , where he twice became the NCAA's leader in rebounds.

Williams studied and played for North School ( Phoenix , Arizona ).
Professional career
He put forward his candidacy for the 2015 NBA draft , but was not selected. After that, he joined the Charlotte Hornets club in the NBA Summer League (three matches in Orlando) and the Houston Rockets (four matches in Las Vegas). Following the results of performances in Las Vegas, he got into the second team of the Summer League. [one]
In 2015, he left for China , where he played for the Qingdao Doublestar club. Since 2016, he joined the Phoenix Suns team, playing in the position of center and heavy striker.
On March 8, 2016, William signed a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns Club. [2]
In the 2016-17 season, I went to the site in 47 matches, on average for 15.1 minutes I scored 7.4 points on the site, made 6.2 rebounds. On July 26, 2017, William signed a renewal contract with Suns. [3] September 25, 2017 dropped out of the game due to problems with the meniscus on his right knee. [4] On July 2, he was expelled from the Sons. [5]
September 24, 2018 Alan signed a bilateral contract with the Brooklyn Nets , which allows the player to play both for the main team and for the Long Island Nets Development League club [6] . Williams was expelled on January 2, 2019. He did not play a single match for the Brooklyn Nets and played only in the development league [7] .
January 11, 2019 again signed a bilateral contract with the Brooklyn Nets. [8] On the same day, he made his debut for Brooklyn in the match against Toronto Raptors , scored 8 points, made 8 rebounds and gave two assists. [9]
Personal life
Alan's younger brother, Cody Jr., also plays for the University of California College of Santa Barbara. [10]
