History
Known since September 20, 1902. Until 1971 Provisional Lane.
The modern name is in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Egorovich Astashkin , a fighter pilot of the 69th Fighter Aviation Regiment, which repeated September 14, 1941 the feat of Gastello in the sky near Odessa [1] .
