The presidential elections in Slovenia were held on November 10 and December 1, 2002. In the 2nd round , Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek received 56.6% of the vote and was elected president . Turnout was 72.04% in the 1st round and 65.24% in the 2nd [1] .
