History
- September 8, 1897 - from squadrons assigned to one of the dragoon regiments: Life Pavlogradsky, Mariupol, Kinburn, Astrakhan, Starodubovsky and Mitavsky formed in the city of Wloclawsk, Warsaw Bay. The 53rd Dragoon New Archangel Regiment, consisting of 6 squadrons.
- December 6, 1907 - the 16th Lancers of the New Arkhangelsk Regiment.
- 05/20/1908 - The consolidated cavalry division was abolished.
- The 3rd Separate Cavalry Brigade is stationed in Wloclawsk (Warsaw Military District).
- 1911 3rd Separate Cavalry Brigade as part of the Vth Army Corps. The regiment is stationed in the city of Voronezh (Moscow Military District).
World War I
- 11.29.1914 - The regiment became part of the newly formed 16th Cavalry Division.
- 05/07/1915 - the 16th Cavalry Division became part of the newly formed IV Cavalry Corps ( South-Western Front ).
- On 06/01/1915 - the corps in the Olokhov group (in the area of ββthe 3rd Army South-Western Front ).
- 06/12/1915 - the 3rd Army and the Olokhov group were subordinate to the command of the North-Western Front.
- 08/11/1915 - during the division of the North-Western Front, the corps became part of the 3rd Army ( Western Front ).
- 05/22/1916 - the corps was sent to the 8th Army (South-Western Front)
- From 06/11/1916 - the 3rd Army was temporarily transferred to the South-Western Front and the 4th Cavalry Corps became part of it.
- On 03/03/1916 - the 16th Cavalry Division as part of the 4th Cavalry Corps, with the 3rd Army (Western Front).
- 04/04/1917 - It was ordered that the standard, with the monogram, of the renounced emperor, be delivered to Petrograd to carry out work on removing the monogram.
