Election System
The Parliament of Equatorial Guinea consists of two chambers. The Lower Chamber of Deputies consists of 100 deputies who are elected by proportional representation on closed lists in multi-member districts [2] . The term of office of deputies is 5 years. The Senate consists of 70 senators, of which 55 are elected, and 15 are appointed by the president [3] .
