Career

Club

Quang Hui came to football quite late, being just an amateur and playing in his free time. In 1998, as a student of the 11th grade, he joined the youth team of the Namdin club without any serious preliminary training, but thanks to his physical qualities and the skills developed during amateur performances, he became a main player a few months later. Quang Hui is considered one of the most talented Namdin club players born in the 1980s. Since 2005, he was the captain of the club, with whom he played for five years in the Vietnam Super League. Before the 2009/2010 season, he signed a three-year agreement with the Haiphong club for an amount exceeding his monthly earnings by 30 million times [1] . He finished his playing career at the Ninbin club, and left the big sport after the club was removed from the 2015 Vietnamese championship and the team was subsequently disbanded.

Team

For the first time, Bui Quang Hui was called up to the Vietnamese national team to prepare for the ASEAN Championship in 2004 , but he was the reserve goalkeeper at the tournament with the main goalkeeper Nguyen Tae An (the Vietnamese team took 3rd place in the group and did not reach the next round). His debut took place in 2004. Kuang Hui was in the Vietnam team’s applications for the 2007 Asian Cup and 2008 ASEAN Championship , but there he wasn’t the main goalkeeper, but Zyong Hong Shun (Kuang Hui did not play a single match at the Asian Cup).

In total, he spent 10 games for the Vietnamese national team, and the last one took place in 2010 as part of the 2011 Asian Cup selection . As part of the Vietnam national team, he won the 2008 ASEAN Championship, became the bronze medalist of the 2007 ASEAN Championship, and in the home Asian Cup with the team reached the quarter-finals, where their team lost to future champions, Iraq . His team also performed at a number of friendly tournaments, including in 2006 at the Agribank Cup, where Bui played 81 minutes in a match against the second national team of New Zealand (victory 1-0) [2] .
