Achievements

On October 29, 2017, at the age of 13, 1 month and 11 days, he became a chess grandmaster . At that time in history, only once did a chess player become a grandmaster at an earlier age [1] [2] . In 2018, two more chess players became grandmasters at an earlier age than Nodirbek.

Career

In 2012, he won the Youth World Chess Championship in Maribor , Slovenia in the under 8 years old category.

In 2014, at the age of 9, he defeated two grandmasters, Sergey Zhigalko and Rustam Khusnutdinov , during the 8th tournament in memory of Georgy Agzamov in Tashkent , becoming one of the youngest players who have ever defeated a grandmaster in the classic time game [3] [4] .

In April 2015, at the age of 11, he entered the FIDE list of the top 100 juniors, setting a record for the age of getting into the list [5] .

In November 2015, with a score of 8½ out of 12, he was fourth in the youth category under 12 in Porto Carras .

In October 2017, he participated in the Chigorin memorial , in which he became the third with a score of 6½ out of 9, while his rating Elo exceeded the mark of 2500 points, and fulfilled the norm of the grandmaster. This made him the second youngest grandmaster.
