Biography
Born in 1979 in Moscow. The son of a specialist in the field of geography of sea routes and industrial fishing GK Voitolovsky (1930-2011).
In 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of History of Moscow State University and entered the postgraduate program of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
In 2004 he defended his thesis, the theme: "The reflection of the processes of political globalization in the minds of political elites and public movements of the United States and the EU."
Since 2004 he has been working at IMEMO RAS , where he held the posts of junior and senior research associate, head of the US Foreign and Domestic Policy Sector, Deputy Director for Research. In 2017, he was elected Director of the Institute.
In 2013 he defended his doctoral thesis, the theme: "The ideology and practice of Atlantis in US foreign policy" [3] .
In 2015, he was awarded the honorary academic title of Professor of RAS [4] .
On October 28, 2016 he was elected Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the Department of Global Problems and International Relations.
Fluent in English and Spanish.

He is the author of more than 70 scientific works, with a total volume of more than 110 pp, including 10 articles in journals from the HAC list and one individual monograph “Unity and Disunity of the West” [6] .
Since 2008, part-time reading special courses at the Faculty of Political Science at MGIMO , since 2016 - at the FEFU School of International and Regional Studies, since 2007 - for graduate students of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
