Paopao is a village on the island of Moorea [1] ( Society Islands , French Polynesia ).

The village is located on the shore of Cook Bay. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, the amount of flat, convenient for agriculture, land is very limited. According to the 2007 census, 4,244 people lived in Paopao. A juice factory is functioning. The connection of the village with the outside world is provided [2] [3] , and ferry service is also developed: to the nearest island, Tahiti , the journey takes about 45 minutes [4] .
