Biography
Born in 1876 (according to other sources in 1875) on Prinikipo. His father was from Chios , and his mother was from Tuzla near Chalcedon [1] . Received primary education in native places [2] .
Metropolitan of Xanthia and Periorian Joachim (Syuros) supported him, thanks to which Georgiadis entered the Theological school on the island of Halki [2] , from which he graduated in 1897 [1] .
He was ordained deacon by Metropolitan Joanim of Xanthia (Syuros) with the name Joachim, after which he served as protodeacon of the Xanthian metropolis , and then as priest , then served as protossynkelle of the Xanthian metropolis [2] .
December 1, 1902 in the church of St. John in Hione Galatsky in Constantinople, was ordained a titular bishop of Christopol , vicar of the Xanthian metropolis. The consecration was performed by: Metropolitan Xanthian Joachim (Syuros), Metropolitan Proarchius of Dyrrachia (Lazaridis) , Nicodemus of Metropolitan of Bordenon, Metropolitan Nikifor of Lititsky and Metropolitan of Iliomnom of Kalliopolis [1] .
On January 27, 1907, he was appointed Metropolitan of [1] .
On December 20, 1923, he was appointed Metropolitan of Chalcedon [1] .
Suddenly died on February 5, 1927 in Constantinople [1] .
