Flicker (album)

Flicker is the debut studio album of Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan (one of the members of the Anglo-Irish group One Direction ), released October 20, 2017 . Immediately in the first week of release, he reached the first place in the charts of the USA , Canada, Ireland and the third in the UK [1] .

About the album

Thanks to the debut of the Flicker album in first place in the US , One Direction became the second in pop history after The Beatles , in which each of the three members had solo charttopers. Horan made it the third after his colleagues from One Direction. The first was a former member of Zayn ( Mind of Mine album, No. 1 in 2016), and the second was Harry Styles ( Harry Styles album became No. 1 in 2017). The British four did it George Harrison (two albums at position No. 1), John Lennon (three falconers at No. 1) and Paul McCartney (six charttopers, including solo albums and together with Wings ) [1] .

In the first week of the album’s release, Horan performed on several television shows, including the Ellen DeGeneres Show (October 20), Jimmy Kimmel Live! ( ABC , October 23) and Today ( NBC , October 26) [1] .
