Biography

Maria Naumovna was born on January 25, 1920 , in Ukraine . In 1938, after graduation, Maria Kostoglodova entered the literary department of the Rostov Pedagogical Institute.

The Great Patriotic War interrupted the studies of Maria Naumovna. In the first months she worked in a military hospital, then - evacuation and work in the Ordzhonikidze military school. At the same time she was a freelance correspondent for the newspaper Socialist Ossetia. In the war and postwar years M.N. Kostoglodova traveled a lot around the country. In Samarkand, completed her studies at the Pedagogical Institute. In Bryansk, she worked as a radio announcer, executive secretary of the regional newspaper, and literary secretary of the regional newspaper Bryansk Worker.

She returned to Rostov-on-Don in 1945 , worked in the regional newspaper "Red Banner". In 1958, Maria Naumovna Kostoglodova left for Kamchatka, worked there as the chief art director of the House of Officers, wrote the first story "There is romance!"

Creativity

In 1946, the first M.N. Kostoglodov’s book “Locksmith Novak” is an essay on the advanced worker of the Rostselmash plant, a little later - “The Komsomol Secretary” and “The Liza Chaikina Team”.

Maria Naumovna’s trip to the construction of the Volga-Don Canal resulted in essays published in the newspapers of Moscow, Rostov, and the German Democratic Republic . Together with the writer M. Andriasov, she wrote a play about the builders of Volgo-Don, “The fate of a friend” and the play “Clear Dawns”. Returning to Rostov , Maria Naumovna continued to perform in the genre of artistic journalism and essay. We saw the light of her book "Boys, Boys ...", "Corners of Life" and others.

In 1960-1970, Maria Naumovna wrote the novels “It was only yesterday ...”, “The Sixth Sense”, the novel “Dina”.

Together with the candidate of medical sciences K.K. Kharabadzhakhov, Maria Naumovna Kostoglodova wrote an acute journalistic book “Dangerous Frivolity”.

The last work of M.N. Kostoglodova became the story "Moss on a stone" ( 1979 ) - on the formation of boyish characters, on the responsibility of adults for the fates of life. Like previous works by M. Kostoglodova, the story is based on documentary material.

The creative interests of the writer were mainly related to the theme of youth, her quest and destiny, affairs and spiritual needs, her understanding of happiness and duty.
