Justice League: A New Barrier is an animated film released on video and based on comics about superheroes . Is the second in the lineup of the Original Animation Films of the DC Universe (the previous one is “ Superman: Doomsday ”, the next one is “ Batman: Knight of Gotham ”). Content
Story
An unknown creature decided to eradicate humanity because of its ability to violence. At the end of the Korean War, US Air Force pilot Hal Jordan and his co-driver Kyle Morgan are attacked by enemy pilots, but they survive.
In Las Vegas, Captain Cold tries to rob a casino, but Flash comes running from Central City , called on the phone by his girlfriend Iris West , and neutralizes the bombs set by Cold.
In Gotham City teleports the last surviving Martian J'onn J'onzz . Two years later, he is a detective John Jones at the city police department. Adherents of the End of the World cult abduct a child for a sacrificial ritual. John and Batman are trying to stop the sacrifice. The cult leader has an entity that identifies itself as a “Center” and warns about the coming day of the Last Judgment.
Meanwhile, Hal Jordan is training under the command of Colonel Rick Flaga to fly to Mars . The project is accompanied by Special Agent King Faraday. Jones reads his thoughts and learns that the rocket is a weapon to destroy any life on Mars. After the disdainful statement of Barry Allen on this subject, Jones opens up to Batman and plans to hide on a rocket. Jones and Faraday fight on the launch pad. The rocket takes off damaged and faulty. Hal gets out of the cab and Superman saves him. The flag explodes a rocket. Jones is arrested.
On Paradise Island, the Wonder Woman is training with the Amazon Minor. Suddenly, they are attacked by the "Center". Abin Sur gives his ring to Hal and tells him about the “Center”, a monstrous creature that seeks to destroy people. Lois Lane reports that the giant pterodactyl attacks Cape Canaveral . Wonder Woman arrives on a stealth plane and announces the arrival of the "Center". Jones decides to help save the Earth.
The "Center", a huge flying island guarded by an army of mutant dinosaurs, is attacking Florida . Flash, Green Arrow , , the Black and the Black Hawk are working with soldiers at the base. Superman is trying to get closer to the "Center", but he fails and he is sinking in the ocean. Inspired by his action, the heroes plan to use Ray Raymer’s beam to destabilize the island, along with a frontal attack and bombardment.
Air assault does not produce results, and dinosaurs crush Faraday ground forces. The mental power of the "Center" briefly overwhelms John. Faraday is captured by a dinosaur and both die after Faraday explodes hand grenades. Hal and Kyle Morgan sneak into the core of the Center, but the hallucinogenic attack confuses them. Jordan's ring turns out to be a powerful weapon of the Guardians of the Universe . Using his pilot becomes the Green Lantern .
Meanwhile, Flash jumps to the surface of the “Center” and runs along it, causing it to decrease. Hal envelops the island with green energy and transports it into space, where it explodes.
When a team of superheroes celebrates its victory, a submarine emerges from the water, in which Aquaman and Superman rescued by him appear.
