Creativity
The Pazuzu project was created in 1993 by Summoning musicians Michael Gregor (Silenius) , Richard Lederer (Protector) and Trifixion (Alexander Trondl) at the same time as Summoning. While Summoning played a melodic variety of black metal , under the name Pazuzu, they "using only synthesizers , samples and [electronic] effects, sought to create music that was dark and at the same time solemn and atmospheric" [2] . The following year, The Urilia Text split was recorded, which included four Pazuzu songs and two Summoning songs.
The first official album was called And all was Silent ... and was released on the Norwegian label Head Not Found in 1994. All music was written by Cilenius and Protector, Ray Wells was one of the vocalists. The album is a dark ambient, periodically supplemented with bagpipes and flutes , which create a medieval atmosphere. In 1995 , Wells as a vocalist participated in the recording of his debut album Summoning Lugburz . A year later, Pazuzu without Trifixion (he had a conflict with Silenius and Protector) recorded the song “The First Dominion: Renewal of Ages” for the underground Austrian black metal band ABMS Norici Obscura Pars, which was released by Dark Matter Records. This allowed Pazuzu in the same 1996 to publish on the DMR the second album Awaken The Dragon . On this record, Wells worked almost alone, the main theme of the album is waiting for the end of the world. Shortly after the release of the album, Dark Matter Records went bankrupt.
In 1998 , Raymond Welss moved to Canada [2] and Pazuzu finally began to exist as a solo project.
In October 1999 , the third album III: The End Of Ages was released on Avantgarde Music, recorded, produced and mixed by Wells independently in his own studio from June 1998 to July 1999 .
