History
In the “List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire” of 1869, the settlement is mentioned as the village of Pankova in the Osa district (2nd camp) of the Perm province , with the rivers Pankovka and Pesyanka, located 86 versts from the county city Osa . There were 61 courtyards in the village and 377 people (180 men and 197 women). The Orthodox chapel functioned [2] .
In 1908, in the village belonging to the Pankovsky society of the Dubrovsky volost of the Aseni uezd, there were 76 courtyards and 428 people (200 men and 228 women). The majority of the population consisted of former state peasants , Orthodox, Russian by nationality [3] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the Perm Territory, in the subtaiga zone , on the banks of the Pankovka River, near its confluence with the Kama River, at a distance of about 33 kilometers (straight) west-south-west (WSW) from the village of Elovo , the administrative district center.
