Biography
Club career
Pupil of the Tbilisi club "Bully." During his career, he played for the Tbilisi clubs “Hooligan” (in which he also held the post of coach), “Lokomotiv” and “Army” (played in the extreme three-quarter position) [4] , and also played in the French “Blois”. Finalist of the Georgian Championship in 2014 [5] . In the summer of 2017, he moved to the Penza club Metallurg [6] .
Team Career
The debut in the national team took place on March 20, 2004 in the game against the Czech Republic . In total, George spent 38 games, gaining 30 points due to 6 attempts. One of the most famous attempts made by him took place at the 2007 World Cup in the game against Ireland , when Shkinin in his half of the field intercepted Peter Stringer's pass to Brian O'Driscoll and made a single-handed race to the test zone [7] [8] . In that match, Shkinin received the prize of the best player, although Georgia lost with a score of 14:10 [9] . He played for the rugby 7 team at the 2009 Rugby 7 World Cup in the UAE .
