Since 2007 - Chairman of the Ternopil Regional Society of Oncologists.

In 1999-2000 - Fulbright scholar in the field of medical education and oncology of the Cancer Institute of the University of Pittsburgh , in 2002 - participant of the scientific exchange of the international program on pediatric oncology in the city of Memphis (both - the United States ).

Chairman of the Esperanto clubs in Ternopil (1980-1983 - Amikeco (Friendship), since 2006 - Spinosfloro.

In 1996-2001, he was a member of the editorial board of the Medicina International Revuo magazine of the World Medical Esperanto Association.

Author of textbooks "Clinical Oncology" (2003), about 200 scientific publications.

The author of the thesis " Melanoma of the skin : optimization of diagnosis, combined and complex treatment of patients" (01/14/07). On the topic of the thesis 49 scientific papers were published, of which 18 articles (among which 5 are independent) in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine; section in the manual "Clinical Oncology"; 23 theses publications at national and international conferences and congresses.

He has 15 copyright certificates and patents for inventions, including seven patents and a copyright on a computer program for predicting the course of a malignant disease ( OncoPrognosis ). ”

Igor Galaychuk, together with Victor Payuk, published in Russian the book of the Japanese healer Masayuki Saionji “Therapeutic Massage Yumeigo” (T., 1995).
