New Code

NEM is a new code base written entirely in Java . It uses the POI (proof of importance) algorithm instead of POW (work proof). ^[21] NEM uses a client-server model, where NIS (NEM infrastructure server) operates independently of the NCC (NEM community client) ^[22] .
