Biography
Member of the Russian-Swedish war (1789-1790) [2] .
From August 11, 1798 to May 13, 1799 - the chief of the musketeer (Ryazhsky) regiment , from May 13, 1799 to April 14, 1807 - the chief of the Belozersky musketeer regiment [3] .
He participated in the Dutch expedition (1799) [2] : as part of the rear admiral P.V. Chichagov’s squadron, which left Revel on July 29, landed in Elsinore on August 20 [4] . At the battle of Bergen on September 8 (19), 1799, he led a column of infantry and cavalry and, jointly with units of forced the French and Dutch to retreat from the villages of and to [5] [ 6] ; awarded the order. The courage of the musketeers under the command of A. K. Sedmoratsky was noted by the Duke of York in a letter to Count Vorontsov in January 1800 [7] .
A participant in the campaign of 1806-1807 [2] . Head of the 6th division in the army L. L. Bennigsen [2] ; in 1805 the division was stationed in Prague near Warsaw [8] . On November 5, 1805, Ratzeburg [9] occupied the mouth of Chapter 9.
In 1807, his division (Vilnius, Nikovsky, Revel , Volyn musketeer regiments, Yekaterinoslav cuirassier and Kiev dragoon regiments, Cossack Popov regiment) was part of General Essen’s corps [10] and was in Gonyondze as a link between the main forces and Essen, guarded rear areas (1100 people in Byala , 650 people between Bialystok and Grodno ) and warehouses in Tykocin (360 people) [11] . In February 1807, the division of A. K. Sedmoratsky did not participate in the battle of Ostroleka , being withdrawn by L. L. Bennigsen at his disposal [12] . On February 16, the 6th division was ordered to join forces and marched on Angerburg –Gerdauen , on February 20 reached Gerdauen [13] , on February 22, Schippenbayl, and on February 23 in Heilsberg joined forces with Lestock and Osterman-Tolstoy [14] .
April 14, 1807 is excluded from the lists of the Belozersky musketeer regiment of the dead [3] . He was buried on the road between Heilsberg and Launau, along with other dead Russian generals - R.K. Anrep , S. A. Kozhin and L. L. Varnek [15] .
