Biography
Born in 1895 in the volost center Lielezero .
Since 1911, a student at the Alexander Gymnasium, then a student at the Petrograd Medical Academy.
Since 1921 he worked as a doctor in Daugavpils , military doctor, assistant in the surgical clinic of the University of Latvia. Since the early 1930s assistant surgeon, since 1938 the head of the surgical department, chief surgeon of the 1st city hospital in Riga.
At the same time taught at the 1st Riga Medical School.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 4th and 5th convocations. Honored Doctor of the Latvian SSR.
He died in 1968 in Riga.
