Zoya Afanasyevna Kornilova (born May 22, 1939, village Kyyllaakh of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) [1] - deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the second convocation [2] .

Biography
In 1966 she graduated from the Novosibirsk Institute of Soviet Cooperative Trade with a degree in economics. She defended her thesis, associate professor [2] .
She worked as the head of the sector of the Institute of Economics of the Integrated Development of Natural Resources of the North in the city of Yakutsk [2] .
Consultant to the Office of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation [2] .
From 1990 to 1993 - MP of the RSFSR, member of the Council of Nationalities of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, member of the Supreme Economic Council under the Presidium of the Supreme Council, chairman of the Commission of the Council of Nationalities on the social and economic development of the republics of the Russian Federation, autonomous regions, autonomous regions and small nations, member of the faction "Sovereignty and Equality" [2] .
