Story
In the original film at the end, Stirlitz returns to Berlin to continue on with his assignment. In a parody, he did not do this, but went on a well-deserved vacation to Spain . Instead, his understudy from Kazan, Isa Isaevich Musaev, was abandoned in Berlin. In general, there were 15 Shtirlits - according to the number of union republics , so as not to offend anyone [2] . Working on the principle of rotation, these Shtirlits finally confused the tip of the Third Reich , already in depression and waiting for the inevitable defeat [3] .
Title
The authorship of the name in the context of a parody of the novel by Julian Semenov and the film on this novel belongs to Alexander Ivanov . In 1986, in the 32nd edition of Around Laughter , he read his parody The Eighteenth Moment of Spring. In addition to the title, the parody has nothing to do with the plot of the film [4] . As it has nothing to do with the text “ Stirlitz, or How the hedgehogs reproduce, ” which, without the permission of the authors, was sometimes published under the title in question.
Not to be confused with Erwin Stavinsky's book, The Eighteenth Moment of Spring. The true Stirlitz story ”, which has nothing to do with parodies, but is a statement of the author’s concept of the life and work of Willy Lehman [5] .
