Club career
Nunez is a pupil of the Toluca club. For a long time he could not break into the main team because of high competition, so he played for the Atletico Mexicanse farm club. As part of the reserve team, Juan spent more than 100 matches. On August 14, 2004, in his match against the Necaxa , he made his debut in the Mexican championship . Nunez could not win the competition for a place at the base and in 2008 moved to Tijuana . On August 3, in his match against Irapuato , he made his debut for the club in the Assenso League [2] . On November 1, in a duel against La Piedad , Juan scored his first goal for Tijuana [3] . In 2011, Nunez helped the team enter the elite for the first time in history. On August 7, in his match against Santos Laguna , he made his debut for a top-level team [4] . In 2012, he helped the club win the championship for the first time in history. In 2016, Nunes 227 match in the Tijuana and breaking the record of Javier Gandolfi in the number of games for the club.
